I was a little hesitant in picking this book to read, but now I am glad I did. There has always been a big argument on women and their roles in the church. The author of this book did a wonderful job explaining and giving examples about how Jesus feels about women and references to women in the Bible. Chapter 7 really stood out to me because it gave applications that we should be using in our lives today.  I was sent this book to read in exchange for my honest review.





The Women of Easter by Liz Curtis Higgs

This is the first book I read by this author. I got the book last week and decided this morning to open the book and start reading. I have not been able to put the book down. I love the way she introduces her audience to the three Mary's and vividly tell their story and include Bible references as the stories go on throughout the book. The author is really reaching her goal as I read on the back cover which is to help women embrace the grace of God with joy and abandon. This was my first book by this author, but it will not be my last I have added all of her books to my reading list. Now It is my goal to find and purchase her books and finish my reading list this year of this author's wonderful books. I was sent this book to read in exchange for my honest review.



One Pot

I'm so busy with work and school it was a challenge preparing meals daily. With this book I had options I can pick recipes that allow me to combine everything in one pot and have enough leftovers for a good meal  a couple more days. If any is left afterwards I just freeze it! I was sent this book in exchange for my honest review.

I love the idea of this mix. Ladies most of us have had the well know UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) It can be hard to avoid especially if you exercise regularly and is sexually active. I was only sent one packet of mix to try, I mixed it up which was really simple when I felt I may need it. Normally I can feel when I may have a UTI coming on so I quickly mixed up the drink it doesn't taste bad at all and so far so good no UTI I wish I had been sent more packets to try but I plan on purchasing more in the near future to have on hand. I don't smoke, but I thought this would be a great opportunity to share this product and brand with my family, friends, fans and followers who may smoke. I have people very close to me who smoke so I let them try out the Quit Picks. I love that the sap is natural. I use the soap specifically for my face. A lot of products I have used on my face have caused breakouts and skin irritations. Since using this soap I have not experienced any of that. The soap has a nice clean scent it isn't overpowering or overbearing. Since the soap is natural I was expecting higher prices but to my surprises the prices are very reasonable.
